Energy Saving Solutions

As we find ourselves more in an age where we need to look after our environment we find more and more of our customers are looking at installing or upgrading to Energy Saving Products, whether it be Alternative or Renewable Energy Sources or simply Low Energy Lighting or Heat Recovery we can help.

We have invested time and effort into looking at new products that will meet your criteria when it comes to saving the planet and indeed money, and as new developments come into the market we investigate the quality and compatibility in today's world to ensure that we can not only install a quality product but give our clients the right product every time.

Electric Heating & Underfloor Systems

ITS are market leaders when it comes to the installation and design of Electrical Heating Systems.

Electrical Heating as always been believed to be an expensive way to heat your property, but with new technologies and the unpredictability of fossil fuel life spans and costs it is now emerging into an alternative clean way of heating the property and hot water system.

Most modern Boilers, Heaters, Radiators and Underfloor Heating Systems are now more efficient than their wet system counterparts.

More details are available within this website or call us for further information.

Domestic Fire Detection

As part of your Building Regulation conditions you will need to install Smoke Detection as a minimum requirement to any extension or major alteration to your home in association with BS5839-part 6

Along side a Domestic Smoke Detection System we can install Heat Detectors for area's such as Kitchens and Carbon Monoxide Detection in the region of your Gas Boilers to indicate an early warning of any risks to yourself, family and home.

Intruder Alarm & Security Systems

To protect your property it is always possible to design and install a bespoke Intruder Alarm System or additional Security Systems like Access Control and Security Lighting as visual and audible deterrents.

With our experience we can design a system that suits your requirements and help to recommend the products that you need to improve your security and safety.

All our systems are designed and installed to NACOSS Approved standards so they can be transferred to an Approved Company if required without any alterations or additions.

Home Automation & Audio/Visual Systems

Home Automation Systems are an intelligent way of controlling your electrical consumption and utilisation within your home.

You can control the various systems in your home remotely, from work or globally, with ease and simplicity.

Energy Management, CCTV, Lighting, Access Control, Audio Visual, the list is endless

Periodic Inspection Reports

A Periodic Inspection Report is an inspection on the condition of an existing electrical installation, to identify any non-compliance's in conjunction with the Current IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and the actual 'state' of the installation.

Tests are carried out on wiring and any fixed electrical equipment to check that it is safe.

A Report is then produced which includes each circuit and any defects.

Every electrical installation deteriorates with use and age, and it is important for the person responsible for the maintenance of the installation to be sure that the safety of users is not put at risk, and that the installation continues to be in a safe and serviceable condition, especially in a Rented Property

It is recommended that periodic inspection and testing is carried out at least every 5 - 10 years for a domestic property which may reduce dependant on the age of the installation.

For rentable or let property this may be less, dependant on the type of property management in place, but it is recommended to be carried out every change of tenant or within certain time frames from 1 - 5 years

Guarantee

All our work is guaranteed for a full 12 months with the added bonus of an insurance backed warranty in conjunction with the NICEIC.

Because our work is carried out to the highest of standards we do not envisage any problems, if we do need to replace a faulty part we do so immediately as to continue your guaranteed satisfaction as our customer.

Project Management

On every project you will receive the project management of our engineers to an unrivaled level.

Our attention to detail is why we receive so many positive comments from our customers which projects our reputation forward in every way.

For most projects, you receive the added attention of the Company Principle who only has your interest in mind, "we all work hard for our money, so why not get the service your paying for"

What is 'Part P'

In January 2005, Part P of the Building Regulations came into force. These regulations introduced safety standards for electrical installations within domestic properties.

This means that, with a few exceptions, any electrical work undertaken in your home such as the addition of a new circuit or any work in your kitchen, bathroom or garden must be notified to the Local Authority Building Control.

By using an Electrical Contractor who is registered with a 'Competent Persons Scheme' as we are with the NICEIC, we are able to self-certify our own work and that of others and register it with the Local Authority.
